Math: We finished putting data into our candy database. We also generated some questions for our Jump Rope activity tomorrow. We are going to analyze our data and look for answers to... does the amount of sleep a person gets affect their ability to jump rope, or if they ate breakfast or not. Perhaps your shoe type might affect the outcome. We will input our data into a spreadsheet and analyze our results.
Language Arts: We read the "Boiler Room" we made comparisons to the boiler room in the book and our boiler room here at Hunt. We found many similarities and several differences as well. We also discussed a couple of quotes from the book on page 139. They have to do with making changes in the school. Students also e-mailed Ms. Weaver and Mr. Amato with their reflections about the quotes and asked them what they thought of them.
Science: We are currently producing a video for vocabulary review. Students each signed up to memorize a definition and will share their definition in a Nervous System Vocabulary Review Video. They will be able to access this video to study definitions throughout the unit. Here are the vocabulary words we are currently working on. Nervous System Quizlet
